ARC Foundation Welcomes Scott Graham as Chair of the Board

VANCOUVER, B.C. — The Board of Directors of ARC Foundation (ARC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Graham as the new Chair of the Board, confirmed at last week’s Annual General Meeting.

Scott joined ARC’s Board of Directors in October 2020, and will succeed Jill Gardiner, who will be stepping down from the Board of Directors, but continuing as an Advisor to ARC Foundation, after three years as a Director, including two years as Board Chair.  The Board of Directors thanked Jill for her service, highlighted by helping steer ARC in its growth and adding in her expertise on Governance and Board processes during her tenure.

“I look forward to building on Jill’s strong legacy of leadership in an organization that is not only changing lives, but also saving lives,” shared Graham.  “ARC’s SOGI 1 2 3 programming is growing rapidly in western Canada with bold goals to become a national network of supports for educators to ensure students feel safe, accepted, respected, and welcome.”

“It has been my honour and pleasure to serve on the Board of ARC Foundation and I am pleased that Scott will be taking over the role of Chair,” said Gardiner.  “He has the leadership skills, expertise and passion to facilitate the continued dynamic program growth. SOGI 1 2 3 is a welcome resource at a crucial time; it is an exciting phase for the organization.”
